Section A – Acceptance of This Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Tojoy. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced within them. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

Your use of certain features may also be subject to additional notices presented within the app, including feature-specific disclosures related to photo access, camera access, exports, or in-app purchases. Those notices supplement these Terms.

Section B – Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Tojoy grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the app solely for your own lawful, non-commercial use. This license allows you to create and manage private movie-viewing records, ticket stub archives, timelines, favorites, and monthly summaries for personal reference.

No rights are granted to you except those expressly stated in these Terms. You may not rent, lease, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit the app or any part of it except as permitted by applicable law or with prior written permission.

Section C – Changes to the Agreement

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect updates to the app, legal requirements, business practices, or risk controls. When we do, we may update the date shown at the top of this document and, where appropriate, provide notice through the app or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of Tojoy after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the app.

Section D – User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the information and materials you provide through Tojoy, including movie titles, dates, locations, tags, short notes, ticket images, screenshots, and exported cards. You are also responsible for reviewing any automatically extracted or summarized information before relying on or saving it.

You agree to use the app in a way that does not violate the rights of others, including privacy rights, intellectual property rights, publicity rights, and contractual restrictions. If you upload or process photos or tickets that include another person’s information, likeness, or personal details, you are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary permissions.

Section E – Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tojoy, its operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the app; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right; or (d) any content, data, image, tag, note, or material you submit, store, export, or process through the app.

Section F – Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Tojoy to engage in unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or unauthorized conduct. Prohibited activities include, without limitation: violating any applicable law; infringing copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other third-party rights; uploading harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or misleading content; using the app to harass or track others; or attempting to use the app for purposes outside its intended personal movie-recording function.

You also may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, copy, mirror, frame, or attempt to derive source code from the app except where such restrictions are prohibited by law. In addition, you may not use bots, automation, scripts, crawlers, or similar tools to access or interact with the app, interfere with normal operation, bypass technical protections, probe for vulnerabilities, or introduce malware, spyware, or other malicious code.

Tojoy is not a ticketing platform, streaming service, public review forum, piracy index, or cinema inventory tool. You may not use it to facilitate unauthorized distribution of copyrighted works, illegal media access, seat reservation abuse, or public content aggregation unrelated to the app’s intended purpose.

Section G – Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tojoy and its operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, records, content, device functionality, or business opportunity arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Without limiting the foregoing, we are not responsible for inaccurate recognition results, loss of local records, deletion of data, interrupted access, purchase issues caused by third-party platforms, or reliance on exported summaries or reports. If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Section H – Disclaimer of Warranties

Tojoy is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and freedom from viruses or harmful components.

We do not warrant that the app will meet your expectations, that any feature will be error-free, that records will never be lost, that image recognition will be complete or accurate, or that premium cards, monthly reports, or exports will always be available.

Section I – Intellectual Property

The app, including its software, design, interface, text, visual structure, branding, compilations, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by Tojoy or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property and unfair competition laws. Except for the limited use license granted in these Terms, no ownership or proprietary rights are transferred to you.

You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. “Tojoy,” related logos, and associated app identifiers may not be used without authorization.

Section J – Service Availability

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, with or without notice. Features may vary by device, operating system, region, account state, or technical compatibility. Some features may depend on third-party services such as Apple in-app purchase systems, device permissions, photo library access, or connectivity.

We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or without interruption. Maintenance, updates, outages, security issues, platform restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control may affect access or performance.

Section K – User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Tojoy, including ticket stub photos, movie-viewing photos, screenshots, dates, locations, tags, favorites, short reflections, and similar personal records. Tojoy does not claim ownership of your user content.

However, by using features that require processing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, transmit, analyze, format, display, and process your content solely as necessary to operate the app functions you request, such as creating a movie snapshot, extracting fields from an image, generating a summary, producing a monthly card, or exporting a visual record. This license is limited to service operation and does not grant us the right to sell your content or treat it as our property.

Where cloud-based processing is used for image analysis, uploaded movie photos or ticket images may be transmitted temporarily for automated processing and then deleted after processing in accordance with our operational practices. Certain metadata and text fields may remain stored locally on your device unless and until you edit or delete them.

Section L – Generated Results Disclaimer

Some outputs in Tojoy may be generated or assisted by automated systems, including image-based field extraction, abbreviated summaries, reorganized notes, monthly preference labels, and premium monthly reports or card layouts. These outputs are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

Automated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistently formatted, or unsuitable for your intended use. Ticket details, movie names, dates, venues, and labels may be misread or inferred incorrectly, and all such information should be manually reviewed by you before saving, sharing, or relying on it. Any reliance on generated results is at your own risk.

Section M – In-App Purchases / Virtual Currency

Tojoy may offer consumable virtual currency in the form of coins through Apple in-app purchases. Coins may be used to access certain enhanced features, such as premium monthly reports, ticket collage cards, or monthly cover cards. Basic features, including core movie records, timeline browsing, archive filtering, and monthly statistics, are intended to remain available without coin purchases.

New users may receive a limited number of free premium experiences. After those free uses are exhausted, coin consumption may be required for certain enhanced outputs. The coin amount required for a specific premium generation may vary within the range displayed in the app at the time of use.

All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and billing policies. Except where required by applicable law or the platform’s mandatory rules, purchases are final, non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value. Coins are not a bank account, are not personal property, and cannot be redeemed for money or exchanged outside the app.

Section N – Eligibility Requirements

To use Tojoy, you must be at least 17 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

If you are using the app on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that person or entity to these Terms. If you do not have such authority, you must not use the app on their behalf.

Section O – Description of the Service

Tojoy is a lightweight personal record-keeping app centered on movie-viewing memories and ticket stub archiving. The app is designed to help users preserve personal movie moments by combining a single movie photo or ticket image with a viewing date, a location or cinema name, and a brief personal note. Its core purpose is to organize private viewing records into a timeline, archive, favorites collection, and monthly recap format that users can revisit later.

The service may allow you to take a photo or upload one image, enter or edit a movie title, date, location, tags, and a short impression, and save the result as a structured viewing record. The app may generate a “Movie Stub Snapshot” card that displays items such as the movie title, date, thumbnail, place label, and summary text. If a ticket image contains visible details, the app may attempt to assist with extracting fields such as movie title, date, or venue, but these results are editable and are not guaranteed to be correct.

Tojoy may display your saved records in a reverse-chronological timeline and allow filtering or archiving by year, month, cinema, movie type, viewing partner, custom tag, or favorite marker. The app may also create monthly statistics, monthly movie cards, monthly archives, simplified rewritten summaries, and optional premium visual cards. Users may edit, duplicate, copy, favorite, reorganize, export, or delete their own records and may clear local data.

The service is intended as a personal movie-life journal and stub collection tool only. It is not a movie ticket purchasing service, not a streaming or download platform, not a public review community, not a social matching service, not a cinema inventory system, and not a comprehensive movie database. Tojoy does not promise support for all ticket formats and does not undertake to automatically collect copyrighted posters, stills, plot summaries, or third-party catalog content as core service materials.

Depending on the feature used, the app may request access to your device camera to capture movie photos or ticket stubs, access to your photo library to import images, and permission to save exported viewing cards back to your photo library. Certain uploaded images may be temporarily sent for automated cloud analysis and then deleted after processing, while text fields, notes, tags, monthly records, and similar history may remain stored locally on your device unless removed by you. Coin balances and related purchase entitlements may also interact with Apple’s in-app purchase framework.

Section P – Termination of Access

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Tojoy at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure, interfered with the app’s operation, or used the service in a fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful manner. We may also discontinue the app or any feature at our discretion.

You may stop using the app at any time. Termination or discontinuation does not relieve you of obligations that by their nature should survive, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related matters.

Section Q – Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to Tojoy or these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
