I. Overview

Tojoy is a personal movie-viewing journal and ticket stub archive app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and what choices you have. Tojoy is designed as a private recording tool for your own movie memories, including photos of ticket stubs or viewing moments, movie titles, dates, locations, tags, favorites, and short notes.

We apply data minimization principles and request access only when needed for a feature you choose to use, such as taking a photo, selecting an image from your library, or saving an exported card to your device. We do not operate a public review community, social feed, or advertising network.

II. Information We Collect

1. Information you provide directly. When you use Tojoy, you may provide:

• Photos you take or upload, such as movie ticket stubs, cinema photos, or screenshot images of electronic tickets.
• Movie-related record details, including movie title, viewing date, theater or location, tags, favorite markers, companion labels, and short personal notes.
• Monthly archive content and generated visual cards you choose to create or save.
• Purchase-related information connected to in-app purchases, such as coin balance and transaction status, as provided through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
• Support communications you send to us.

2. Information collected automatically. We may automatically collect limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the app, such as:

• App version, device model, operating system version, language setting, and general diagnostic data.
• Crash reports, error logs, and performance information.
• Basic usage events needed to make features work, such as whether a record was saved or whether a monthly report was generated.

3. Cookies and similar technologies. Tojoy is a mobile app and does not rely on browser cookies in the traditional web sense for user tracking. If similar local technologies are used, they are used only for essential app functionality, security, session integrity, preferences, and feature operation. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising profiling.

4. Permissions. Depending on the features you use, Tojoy may request access to your camera, photo library, or permission to save images to your library. These permissions are optional and requested only when needed to perform the action you selected.

III. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, operational changes, or security improvements. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown above. If required by applicable law or platform rules, we may also provide additional notice within the app. Your continued use of Tojoy after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use, to the extent permitted by law.

IV. Face Data / Biometric Information

Tojoy is not designed for face identification or biometric processing. We do not perform facial recognition. We do not perform biometric analysis. We do not create, collect, store, or generate face templates, faceprints, or other biometric identifiers.

If a photo uploaded by a user incidentally contains a person’s face, that image is handled only as regular image content for the limited purpose of the user-requested movie record function. No biometric extraction is performed. Any temporary uploaded image used for processing is deleted after processing is completed, and no biometric database is created from it.

V. Children's Privacy

Tojoy is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe that a person under 17 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the situation and, where appropriate, delete the information.

VI. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

• Uploaded content used for processing: Photos or images uploaded for processing are deleted after processing is completed.
• Temporary processing data: Temporary files, intermediate processing data, and transient technical artifacts are deleted after completion of the requested processing task.
• Generated results and saved records: Movie records, notes, tags, favorites, archive entries, and generated results stored in your history remain available until you edit or delete them. You may delete them at any time within the app.
• Crash logs and diagnostic records: Retained for up to 12 months for debugging, stability, and security monitoring.
• Support messages and related correspondence: Retained for up to 6 months after the support matter is closed, unless a longer period is required to resolve a legal or security issue.
• In-app purchase records: Transaction-related records may be retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
• Exported cards saved to your photo library: Once exported to your device photo library at your request, those files are controlled by you and subject to your device and photo library settings.

VII. International Data Transfers

Depending on your location and our technical infrastructure, information may be processed or stored in countries or regions other than where you live. This may occur when our servers, cloud infrastructure, backup systems, or support tools operate in different jurisdictions. When international transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to protect information through contractual safeguards, access controls, and security measures appropriate to the nature of the data.

VIII. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data.

We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.

We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.

We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, backup, content delivery, or basic infrastructure operations. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions. They are bound by contractual obligations to ensure data security and confidentiality. They are NOT permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.

Any such infrastructure providers:

• Do NOT use data for advertising or user profiling.
• Do NOT use data for AI training or model optimization.
• Do NOT use data for their own purposes or redistribute it.
• Do NOT independently access or use user content except as technically necessary to provide the contracted infrastructure service under our instructions.

We may also disclose limited information if required to comply with applicable law, enforce our legal rights, prevent fraud or security threats, or respond to valid legal process. Any such disclosure will be limited to what is legally required.

IX. User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your information, including the right to:

• Access information associated with your use of Tojoy.
• Correct or update inaccurate record details.
• Delete your saved records, notes, tags, archive entries, and related local history.
• Export content where such functionality is available.
• Withdraw consent for permissions such as camera or photo library access by changing your device settings.
• Request information about how your data is handled.

X. How We Use Information

We use information only for limited, legitimate app functions, including:

• Creating and saving your movie-viewing records.
• Generating timeline views, archive filters, monthly summaries, and optional visual cards.
• Providing photo import, photo capture, and export features you choose to use.
• Supporting in-app purchases and coin-based premium visual generation features.
• Maintaining security, preventing abuse, fixing errors, and improving app reliability.
• Responding to customer support requests.

We do NOT use your information for advertising. We do NOT use your information for user profiling. We do NOT use your information for AI training. We do NOT sell your information.

XI. AI Processing

Some features may use automated processing to assist with extracting or organizing information from uploaded ticket stub images or movie-related photos. Any such processing is provided only to support the feature requested by the user.

All AI processing occurs on our own servers only. We do NOT use third-party AI services to process user data. We do NOT send user-uploaded images, text, or generated content to outside AI vendors.

User data submitted for AI-assisted processing is used only to provide the requested result. It is deleted after processing is completed. Temporary files and intermediate outputs are also deleted after completion. We do NOT use user data, uploaded content, generated content, or support materials to train, retrain, fine-tune, or optimize AI or machine learning models.

AI-assisted extraction may occasionally be inaccurate. Users should review and correct extracted movie title, date, location, or related details before saving.

XII. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include encrypted transmission where appropriate, access controls, least-privilege practices, logging, service authentication, and restricted internal access to operational systems.

However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and reviewing what content you choose to upload, store, export, or keep in your photo library.

XIII. User Consent and Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Tojoy, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, storage, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the app.
